Hidden Lake Update
The Story
The Hidden Lake Update was an unexpected flip. This townhouse was an investment property, but the owner wanted a change and turned the property back over to our partner. The market was HOT, so she decided to turn it into a flip. Located in a quiet community in Southside Savannah, this surprisingly spacious unit just needed a little love, a lot of paint, and a few special design touches. After a few weeks of repair work and beautifying, the Hidden Lake Update hit the market with a bang. 1 week and 30+ showings later, we were under contract over our listed price! Like many of our flips, we set a new sales price record in the neighborhood.
The Design
The Hidden Lake Update is so named because it didn’t need any serious renovating or remodeling. It was a solid unit in great shape. We could have put it on the market as is, but we couldn’t help but give this cute townhouse the In the Nest signature treatment. We painted everything our go to colors, replaced all of the laminate countertops with granite, painted the cabinets, prettied them up with solid matte black hardware, swapped out the faucets and fixtures, and had the original hardwood floors refinished in a gorgeous walnut stain. Window treatments and fresh mulch completed the update.
